A woman in Qingdao, Shandong Province, postponed signing a contract last
Friday to save a stray cat.

The woman, surnamed Li, was on her way to sign a business contract when
she saw a cat in the middle of the traffic. It was walking on its two
front legs and its rear legs were covered with blood and broken.

Li stopped her car to let the cat pass, but the cat hid under the car,
refusing to move. With police help, Li rescued the cat and took it to a
nearby pet hospital. The head of the pet hospital was touched by Li's
compassion and gave the cat free treatment.
